Ὅπλοις κραταιοῖς ἑλκύσας ζυγῷ στίφη
ἀνενδότους φεῦ αὐχένας κάμψας κράτει
καταλύσας δὲ δωτίναις εἶδος ἅπαν
ἀνδρῶν γυναικῶν καὶ τόπων καὶ ταγμάτων
νῦν εὖ νικῶν εἴργασται, ὦ σκιᾶς λάτρη,
προφητελάτοις χαλινοῖς γνόφους στρέφων
εὖ τοῦ παθόντος τῷ νικηθῆναι λόγῳ
ἄλλοις χρόνοις ἤκουσε πολλὰ πολλά σοι
τελοῖεν εὐχαῖς ἀλαλαζόντων ἔτη
θρυλλοῖτὸ νῦν δὲ τοῖς ἀπείροις τῶν χρόνων
ὁ στρατιώτης, ὁ στρατηγός, ὁ βρέμων
Καντακουζηνὸς ὡς ἄναξ Ἰωάννης
σεπτοῖς τε συζῶν ἁγίοις Ἰωάσαφ .
τάξει πάσῃ γὰρ ἐξέλαμψεν ἐλλόγως.
