	Ὅπλοις κραταιοῖς ἑλκύσας ζυγῶ στίφη·
	ἀνενδότους φεῦ αὐχένας κάμψας κράτει,
	κατακλύσας δὲ δωτίναις εἶδος ἅπαν,
	ἀνδρῶν γυναικῶν καὶ τόπων καὶ ταγμάτων,
	νῦν εὖ νικῶν εἴργασται, ὢ σκιᾶς λάτρη·
	προφητελάτοις χαλινοῖς γνάθους στρέφων·
	εὖ τοῦ παθόντος τῶ νικηθῆναι λόγω·
	ἄλλοις χρόνοις ἤκουσε· πολλὰ πολλά σοι
	τελοῖεν εὐχαῖς ἀλαλαζόντων ἔτη·
	θρυλλοῖτο νῦν δὲ, τοῖς ἀπείροις τῶν χρόνων·
	ὁ στρατιώτης ὁ στρατηγὸς ὁ βρέμων·
	καντακουζηνὸς ὡς ἄναξ ἰωάννης·
	σεπτοῖς τε συζῶν ἁγίοις ἰωάσαφ
	τάξει πάση γὰρ ἐξέλαμψεν ἐλλόγως:-
