	Ὁ πισσίδης πέφυκε συγγραφεὺς μέγας·
	Τῶν κτισμάτων γὰρ προσβαλὼν ἐχεφρόνως·
	Τῆ κοσμία τε καὶ τεταγμένη φύ(σει)·
	Ὅπως τὲ τούτων θαυματουργία ξένη·
	Ἡ συμπλοκῆς πέφηνεν ἐν διαιρέσει·
	Τούτοις ἔσοπτρον τῆς ὑπερνοῦν οὐσίας·
	Ὡς παῦλος εἶπεν ἐνδεῶς κεχρημένος·
	Τὸν δημιουργὸν εὐσεβῶς ἐδόξασε·
	Καὶ τ(ῶ) θ(ε)ῶ προσῆξεν ἐξακηράτου·
	Τοῦ κοσμικοῦ λειμῶνος εὐανθὲς στέφος·
	Πλέξας ἐν ὕμνοις ποικίλης θεωρίας·
	Ἐν ὧ ῥόδον μέν ἐστι μυστικῶ τρόπω·
	Ὁ πυρσοφεγγὴς τῶν γραφῶν εὐωδία
	Τὸ δ’ αὖ γε λευκὸν καὶ σαφὲς τῶν ῥημάτων·
	Τὸ στιλπνὸν εἶδο(ς) εἰκονίζει τοῦ κρίνου·
	Τὸ τίμιον δὲ τῶν νοημάτων βάθος·
	Τὸ πορφυραυγὲς ἴον εἰκότως γράφ(ει)·
	Καὶ τὸν παράδεισον τῆς ἐδὲμ μιμουμ(έ)ν(η)·
	Ἡ νῦν παροῦσα συγγραφὴ τῶν σκεμμάτων·
	Τὸ θεῖον ἱστόρησε τῆς ζωῆς ξύλον·
	Ἐν διεξόδοις τῆς γραφῆς τῶν ὀμμάτων·
	Τὸν καρπὸν ἡμῖν τῶν λόγων ἀναβρύων
	Τῶ δὲ κτήσαντι πάντα τὸν κόσμον λόγω·
	Ὅσος μέν ἐστι ληπτὸς αἰσθήσει θέας
	Ὅσος δὲ τοῦ νοῦ προσβο(λαῖς) γινώσκεται·
	Τῶ τῶν ὅλων σ(ωτή)ρι καὶ τῶν ἐνθέων
	Χαρισμάτων δοτῆρι καὶ τοὺς ἀξίους·

Comment	Lauxtermann (2003: 199): 'In two manuscripts we find at the end of the Hexaemeron a longwinded epigram exalting its author, George of Pisidia. In Par. gr. 1302 (s. XIII) the epigram is anonymous; in Par. Suppl. gr. 690 (s. XII) it bears the heading: τοῦ αὐτοῦ εἰς ἑαυτόν ("by the same on himself"). There can be no doubt that this lemma is incorrect'.
