	Πρόσταγμα πεπλήρωκα τοῦ φιλουμένου,
	σὺ δ' ὦ λατρευτὰ τῆς τριφεγγοῦς λυχνίας,
	θύτα καθαρὲ καὶ Θεοῦ παραστάτα,
	εὐχαῖς ἀμείβου, τῆς γραφῆς τὸν ἐργάτην,
	ὅταν συντελῇς τὴν ἀκραιφνὴν θυσίαν,
	ὡς ἂν δι' αὐτῆς καὶ τύχοι σωτηρίας,
	Ἀλεξίου λέγω σοι εὐτελεστάτου,
	ἀναγνώστου καὶ χωρικογράφου πάνυ.
