| Comment | In an eighteenth-century manuscript, on which Kominis (1951: 278) relies, the epigram counts 9 lines. Actually, from line 4 onwards a new poem begins, according to an older witness, inc. 'ἔφησε συνάναρχον, ὁ βροντῆς γόνος'. |
