	Ὁ μὲν σός, Ἁπόστολε, σκόλοψ ὑπῆρχεν
	Οὐ βακχεία αἵματος μαργῆρ κοιλίας
	Δρυμὺ ὑποσφύζουσα ὀσφύιν μάλα,
	Κινοῦσα τε βάλανον, σκορπίον ἄλλον
	Ἀλλα τῶν ἐχθρῶν αἱ συνεχεῖς <σ>πιλάδες
	Οὐ τῶν μόνον ἔξωθεν, μᾶλλον δ’ οἱ ἔσω.
	Ἐμοὶ δὲ δεινῶς ἡ τῶν ἀφροδισίων
	Μανία λυττᾷ τὴν καρδίαν, κινοῦσα
	Ἆσθμα λιγυρὸν, κατακλῶσα τὰ μέλη
	Βδέλλης δολίας αἰμοχαρεῖν ζητούσης·
	Ἀλλὰ σαῖς εὐχαῖς στήριξον ἐν ἁγνείᾳ.
