|Comment||The first two verses are dodecasyllables. From line 3 onwards the poem is in politichoi stichoi.
This poem might be the shorter version of a longer epigram, that is preserved in a sixteenth century manuscript (Vindobon. Theol. gr. 325 ff. 4v-5v). According to Hunger (1992: 448), this epigram has 44 verses and the last one reads 'καὶ τὰς εὐχὰς ἐπιμελοῦ σὺν πάσῃ εὐλογίᾳ'.
