Ἔλαβε πρὶν ὁ Ἰσραὴλ καινὰς πλάκας
αἳ πᾶσιν ὑπῆργον νόμος τε καὶ βάσις
λαλοῦντος εὐχαῖς Μωσέως ταῖς κρυφίαις
ὄρους ἄνω Σινᾶ Θεῷ. Θαῦμα ξένον
ὄρει Θαβὼρ καὶ σοῦ σταθέντος νῷ, μέδον
ἐν ᾧ Θεὸς θελήσας ἀστράπτει ξένως
ἐν ᾧ μυήσας, πῶς ἄναρχον ὡράθη
λαμβάνομεν ταύτην βίβλον, ἄλλας πλάκας.
