Ανακτόγαμβρος στρατοπεδάρχης μέγας.
Εἰδὼς γὰρ αὐτὴν στερρὰν αὐχοῦσαν βάσιν
Ἐς οὐρανὸν φθάνουσαν, αὐτοῦ δε πλάτη
Τὰς ἀρετὰς ἔχουσαν ὥσπερ βαθμίδας
Ποθεῖ δι᾽ αὐτῆς μέχρις οὐρανοῦ φθάσαι
Καὶ τῶν ἀγαθων ἀπολαῦσαι τῶν ἄνω
Ὃ καὶ γένοιτο, παντάναξ παντοκράτορ.
