Comment | Kavrus-Hoffmann (2011: 36): 'There was originally a four-line poem honoring the Evangelist, executed in large epigraphic majuscule in gold over magenta ink; this poem was later rubbed off and the folio filled with a full-page pen-sketch of the Evangelist Luke'. Kavrus-Hoffmann (2011: 36) and Duffy-Angelov (2000: 505-506) don't give any text, but refer to von Soden (1913: 378). |
