|Contextual information||The epigram is embedded in a colophon in prose. The part preceding these verses mentions the names of the scribe and the patron, and the place. After the epigram, the colophon continues in prose and gives the date of completion of the manuscript, linked to a historical event, i.e. the attack by the Muslims of the Hexamilion in Morea (December 1446).|
