Palaeographical information The epigram is written in the same minuscule used by the scribe Konstantinos for the parts of the main text he transcribed (i.e. fols. 1r-67v, 76v-77v, 81r-153v). The initial letters that form the two acrostics are written in majuscule. Moreover, some of the letters of the epigram are coloured in red.
Contextual information The epigram is followed by a prose colophon added by the scribe Konstantinos: "ἐτελειώθη ὁ βίος καὶ τὰ θαύ|ματα τοῦ ὁσίου π(ατ)ρ(ὸ)ς ἡμῶν | καὶ ἁρχιεπισκκ(ό)π(ου) βασιλείου | καισαρείας καππαδοκίας | διὰ χειρὸς κωσταντίνου | πρεσβυτέρου ἐλαχίστου | καὶ ἁμαρτωλοῦ· ἀλλ’ὡς | διὰ τὸν κ(ύριο)ν π(ατέ)ρες καὶ ἀδελ|φοὶ ἱκετεύσατ(ε) τὸν θ(εὸ)ν ὅπος | συγχωρίσει τὰς ἀμαρτίας | μου ἂς ἐποίησα ἐν τῶ βίω | τουτω τῶ ματαίω +".
