| Palaeographical information |
The verse layout is inconsistent, certain words are written partially above or below the corresponding lines:
1 ἀ|κρότης: ] suprascr. κρότης;
2 μαρ|γάρους: ] scr. ፠ γάρους infra;
4 τρό|πω: ] suprascr. πω;
The epigram is written in the same minuscule and fawn ink used for the main text, whereas the title ("στίχοι ἰαμβικοί") is written in majuscule. |
| Contextual information |
Written at the end of the Homilies by John Chrysostomus. A simple frame - with vegetal motifs at its endings - separates the epigram from the main text. |
