Palaeographical information The verse layout is inconsistent, certain words are written partially above or below the corresponding lines:
1 ἀ|κρότης: ] suprascr. κρότης;
2 μαρ|γάρους: ] scr. ፠ γάρους infra;
4 τρό|πω: ] suprascr. πω;
The epigram is written in the same minuscule and fawn ink used for the main text, whereas the title ("στίχοι ἰαμβικοί") is written in majuscule.
Contextual information Written at the end of the Homilies by John Chrysostomus. A simple frame - with vegetal motifs at its endings - separates the epigram from the main text.
