| Comment | Ricceri (2026: 249, n. 27): "It should be noted that in the Sinai manuscript miniatures of the Evangelists were clearly foreseen at the beginning of each Gospel (on ff. 14v, 53r, 79r, 121v), where space was left for a picture and decorative frames were drawn. However, while the miniature depicting Matthew is recognizable, the other three were never produced." |
